GEOTHERMAL ENERGY

Anadolu Innovation has been developing advanced geothermal technologies for energy production and storage since 2020. Field operations are ongoing in the licensed region of Acıdere, Salihli, Manisa.

🌍 Turkey's Advantage

At 5,000 m depth, bottom-hole rock temperature reaches at least 350°C in Turkey, while in England it reaches only 175°C — placing Turkey among the world's highest-potential nations for advanced geothermal systems.

🔬 Research Scope

19 researchers and consultants across 3 branches: formation transmission coefficients, time-dependent thermo-economic analysis, and dynamic hybrid optimisation and control mechanisms.

🤝 Institutional Support

Research conducted under the International Coordination Project, in collaboration with TÜBİTAK 1501 and 1507, and in partnership with MTA — Turkey's leading geothermal authority.
